Devdatt Patel
Hi! I am Devdatt Patel. I will be going into seventh grade. I turned 12 in May. I enjoy playing music and playing sports like tennis, badminton and basketball. During the summer I have developed and reinforced my field of coding and robotics and the habit of wearing pajamas the whole day. I have had a strong interest in coding and robotics for around two years even though this is my first VEX competition. I have taken previous courses on coding. I know some languages such as python, Java, and HTML. I also have experience with CADing. I think I will be contributing towards the CAD and building part of our robot. I am very excited for VEX 2020-2021

Vincent Yang
Hello, I am Vincent Yang. I was born on June 02, 2007 and I’m a Gemini. My favorite subject in school is Math, but I also love Science. I also love to play tennis. If the weather is okay on the weekend, my dad and I go to courts to play. If it’s not we study math and play cards. My friends say I’m very good at Logic and engineering. As much as I doubt it, I do love Logic and Engineering. I think this is what motivated me to join the Vex team. I also joined the Vex team because I like robotics. I believe it’s a mix between Logic and Engineering, but Vex also features healthy competition. I think on the team, I could contribute more on the coding part. I love Logic, so I think that suits me well. I hope our team will also inspire other teams to work harder and try harder.
Leo Dai
Hello, my name is Leo Dai. This year, I will be turning 13, and going into 8th grade. I play the piano, and used to play the violin. I have a gecko as a pet, though I used to have many fish. My favorite sports are swimming, badminton, and basketball. I have been doing robotics for 5 years, and this is my third year in VEX.
Spencer Matijak
Hello, my name is Spencer. This year I turned 13 and will be going into 8th grade. I enjoy playing the guitar and my favorite sports are swimming and rowing. This will be my 3rd year doing Vex and I am extremely excited for the 2020-2021 season considering that I enjoyed the last two. This year I would like to focus on learning to code better and am looking forward to this upcoming year!
