Over the summer, our two teams came together and staring learning things like coding, CAD, and the basics of VEX together. At first, we didn't know each other at all and it was very awkward. Now, our classes, even though they are virtual, are filled with endless jokes and laughs! We started off the summer by learning some basic vocabulary in C# and in the world of VEX Robotics, since that was the programming language we were learning at first. We coded calculators, the area of a circle, triangle, and rectangle, and so much more! After that we learned about CAD from our CAD specialists, Arianna, and Jesus. We began to CAD different parts of robots, and eventually CADed out our own robot parts, for our robot that we were going to build. Finally, we brought our CAD models to life by building our robot based off of our designs. Some things like the left and right intakes had to be re-modeled a few times, since we found a few errors with it once we put our robot together. Finally, we started our online challenges, and continued to meet every Friday, and meet separately for our building classes. That brings us to today!
